About
Scholar Phos is a study Bible app focused on close reading. It bundles three public-domain English translations and adds a Greek New Testament interlinear with Strong's lexicon, public-domain commentaries, cross-references, parallel translations, and personal notes, highlights, and bookmarks.
It runs on iPadOS 26 and macOS 26 and later.
Privacy Policy
What Scholar Phos collects
Nothing. The developer does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs, and it requires no account or sign-up to use.
Your study content
Notes, highlights, bookmarks, workspaces, sermon drafts, and Apple Pencil annotations you create are stored locally on your device. The app does not transmit them anywhere, and the developer has no access to them.
A future version may add optional sync across your own devices via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). It is not enabled in this version. If it ships, this page will be updated, and sync would be managed by Apple under your Apple ID — not by the developer.
Network use
Scholar Phos works entirely offline. All scripture, commentary, interlinear, and lexicon content is bundled with the app and read on-device. The app does not contact the developer or any third-party server, and does not transmit your data off your device.
Children
Scholar Phos is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the app will note the update in its release notes.
